Thanks koldo, that's a great story. I see that the image you have is 'nearly' identical to this Kali. But if they were created as 'inexpensive souvenirs' I guess there would have been many handmade copies.

i love indian mythologie. these pictures are wonderful. i keep looking for interesting styles of depictions of these divinities and their stories. this blog is really great. i come here often for inspiration ;-)
