Drawn by G Edwards (after Mark Catesby), engraved by IM Seligman, JS Leitner et al. Available from the Botanicus website (there are three 'sets' of illustrations: general birds, parrots and animals; easily found from the drop-down menu in the margin).
The above selection and a few others have been saved in this set. These constitute probably a quarter or less of the total number of illustrations in the book. If you look closely, there are occasional eccentric additions to the design of the above pictures, beyond the usual 18th century stylising. Botanicus appear to have digitised a second copy of the same(?) work: see here.

Great images! I'm trying to get my hands on a high res scan of the cockatoo pictured here. Any idea how I could get that? All images I've found on the web are too small.
Rachael, I think you should write to the Missouri Botanical Gardens people - that's who run botanicus.
I have a vague recollection of seeing another copy of this work come online - perhaps at one of the German repositories - in the recent past, so maybe search on the title and add "inurl:de"...just in case.
[also, write to me -peacay gmail- and maybe I could workout how to extract the highest res. version from botanicus : if you do this, I'd be grateful if you'd find the actual cockatoo URL to pass onto me]
